LONDON (Reuters) – The Church of England on Thursday
lifted its ban on divorced people remarrying in church — a move that could
allow divorcees Prince Charles and his lover Camilla Parker Bowles to walk up
the aisle.
The church’s governing body the General Synod voted by
308 to 110 to end the ban, but added the condition that it should not turn into
a free-for-all for church weddings for divorcees.

The false ideas of faith and scripture alone has now further degraded into
the even more false idea of morality by vote. This was inevitable since reading
the Bible apart from the Church always results in a translation by a democracy
of one. When Jesus asked the Apostles “Who do you say I am”, they all got it
wrong except Peter who was guided by the Holy Spirit and not personal opinion.
Instead of as in some Bibles where the words of Jesus are printed in red they
must have considered his words to be a red herring, or maybe in their version
his words were printed in invisible ink. Maybe the secular world will rejoice in
the fact that the Church of England has finally got over that “Jesus” thing and
moved into the modern world. The words used in this article “lifted its ban”,
totally misrepresents the truth of the permanence of marriage. Thank you Lord
for guiding your Church in truth forever teaching the indissolubility of the
Sacrament of Marriage and may you remove the hardness of heart of the present
generation.
And he said to them, “Whoever divorces his wife and
marries another, commits adultery against her;
and if she divorces her
husband and marries another, she commits adultery.”
