Looks like the Sisters
of Divine Providence are another group of nunconformists which uses as a
site motto a quote from the Dalai Lama, supports New Ways Ministries, and has
Earth Day Masses. Their diversity includes everything but support for pro-life
causes. Maybe they should have their name changed to Sisters of the vine
prove-their-dense. They offer the following classes:
Hatha Yoga
Learn basic
Hatha Yoga postures and breathing techniques to increase strength, energy, and
flexibility. Each class will end with relaxation time. Wear loose, comfortable
clothing and bring a towel or mat.
I just can’t bear
Yoga. “I don’t think the Bishop’s gonna like this, Yogi. Hey Mr. Bishop Sir I
just wanna pic-ka-nit basket.”
Personal Growth
Group
This experiential growth group provides the
participant an opportunity to gain insight for change, healing, and
enlightenment. The Human Energy System (Chakras) will be the basis for the group
work. Come to know the sacred places within yourself and experience taking this
knowledge into the world.
How convenient go to pilgrimages of
sacred places without ever leaving your body. I wonder if Chakras is the younger
sister of Chaka Khan?
Tai Chi Chih
TAI Chi Chih, known as Joy through Movement, is a moving
meditation. It is a series of 19 movements and one pose which are joyous and
easy to learn. These movements are slow, gentle, and can be done by anyone,
regardless of age or physical condition. TAI Chi chih promotes a holistic,
healthy style of life by circulating and balancing the energy (Chi) in and
around us.
It must be good, the spiritual powerhouse PBS did a
thirteen part series on it. This was invented by the oriental master Justin
Stone formerly of the New York Stock Exchange. Some of these movements are
called: Pulling Taffy, Anchor Taffy, Wrist Circles Taffy, and
Perpetual Motion Taffy; I’ll stick with Eating Taffy. Another movement is called
“Light at the Top of the Head, Light at the Temples” which proves their
disciples are light-headed.
Sound Healing through Toning
Science and ancient spiritual traditions both suggest that the
basis of matter is vibration and both view creation at a quantum level, as a
quiver with energetic impulses that coalesce in infinite varieties of valences.
The body, too, is part of this vibrating universe and resonates with the bodys
energy centers one basis of health. This can be optimized through intentional
vibratory activity. In this workshop well explore Toning as a powerful and
elegant way to cultivate the bodys vital energy or (Qi) and enjoy in the
process, a greater sense of balance, wholeness, and well being.
All together now, with the Beach Boys let’s sing “‘I’m pickin’ up good
vibrations (Oom bop bop good vibrations)”

Are your kids wandering away from new age religions? Do your kids think the
only forms of energy are nuclear or coal-fired? Have they fallen into the trap
of orthodoxy and entered the Catholic Church? Do they believe in the concept of
truth or moral absolutes? Do they mock crystals and Shirley Maclaine? If so then
this is the course for them.
Reiki: What is
It?
