In my area recently on the radio they have been advertising a
bank for Lutherans called Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans. I wonder if you have to believe in sola savings or
that your money is saved by interest alone? At least they believe that anyone
including infants can open up an account. I also wonder if members will split
from this bank and start non-congregational banks or home banking. And there
will always be people who want to try to go back to the early bank and to hold
checking services like they did in the days of the Apostles.
