A public school superintendent has sent police in squad
cars to the houses of homeschooling families to deliver his demand that they
appear for a “pre-trial hearing” to prove they are in compliance with the
law.

This is what happens when we continually relinquish our rights and duties as
parents to the government. When you try to exercise your responsibilities then
some bureaucrat is going to decide if they will allow you to or not.
Unfortunately the squad cars were probably needed more at the schools under his
supervision then being used for harassing home school families.
