the Obscure posted about “Spiritual Lesson from a big furry mutt” which
prompted me to ponder the same about cats. Cats by their nature will totally
ignore their owners until such time as they need something like food or a desire
to go outside. When one of these events occur they all of a sudden will rub
against you and pay attention to you and when their desire has been met they
will promptly go back to totally ignoring you. I believe that God created cats
to show us how we treat him. If we are in trouble or in pain we promptly call
out to God in prayer, but when things have calmed back down we go back to
ignoring Him. Now I know that none of this is dog-matic but they were inferred
by principles in the cat-echism
